Shipping policy

 HATCHING EGGS:

I take a LOT of pride in the packaging of my orders. Each individual egg is carefully bubble wrapped and surrounded with plush layers of packing foam. Half dozen orders are single boxes and all Dozen+ orders are double boxed. Our orders are tailored to each individual customer and shipped with maximum freshness in the order they are received unless you need a specific future date. Please keep in mind that orders do not ship immediately. See my PREORDER DATES sheet for tentative shipping dates and also for chick shipment dates for each preorder. My preferred shipping method is UPS 3DAY or Overnight Express. UPS has been the most consistent with their shipping timeframes. Every order shipped USPS has a “Please hold for pick up” sticker on the top of the box with your phone number. I CAN NOT guarantee those orders will be held at the post office and I can not guarantee when orders will arrive. Once shipments leave me, everything is out of my control. Please make sure you add an email address when checking out so that you receive your tracking number. 

I will not be held liable for shipments once they leave my possession. Once a shipment leaves me, what happens is (obviously) completely out of my control.

Shipping Chicks:

 Chick shipments are shipped the following week after they have hatched. I aim for Thursdays being hatch days and the following Mondays being shipment day. This gives ample time for all of the eggs to hatch, the babies to be already drinking electrolytes and eating their nutrient dense cookie crumble I make them prior to shipping to help get them strong and ready for their journey. They are shipped via USPS Priority Express.  I do my very best to ensure your babies have a luxurious ride to their new home. Every chick order is shipped in a live bird box with ample ventilation, a puppy pad base, nesting pad/pine pellet blend to help keep moisture down in the box, a wall of heat packs (unless it’s the dead of summer), heart shaped containers line one side of the box and contain a custom made hydration gel to ensure ample hydration and nutrients are being delivered on their ride as well as a nutrient dense homemade chick “cookie” crumble baked with love, by me. Lavender essential oils are added to every box to help keep your sweet little babies calm and stress free. I also add a light so they can see inside their box.  Yes, I spoil these babies all the way to your doorstep 🩷.

 

*** IF you have any issues with your shipments, document with photos and file a claim with the carrier used for shipment. Unfortunately, carriers do NOT reimburse any amount over $100. Please be aware of this prior to purchasing. I do not offer refunds what so ever due to the simple, yet obvious factor, I do not control shipping.
