The Chocolate Cuckoo Ameraucana originated in Miami Florida. it is a newer breed and I can proudly say I am the second breeder in the United States of these phenomenal birds. I can NOT get over their chocolatey cuckoo pattern! Ameraucanas are excellent birds. They lay roughly 250 blue eggs a year and this color variation is certain to be a focal point of conversation!
