These birds are MAGNIFICENT! I’m all about uniqueness and rarity, they are definitely both! I can proudly say, I am one of only a few breeders in the United States that breed Lavender Cuckoo Ameraucanas. Ameraucanas lay 250+ beautiful blue eggs a year and are very hardy birds. You will definitely want these as the centerpiece of your flock.
With this project breed, there is a slight chance of no muff and when working with Lavender there is the possibility of the shredder gene. My birds show no signs of this gene but that doesn’t mean it can’t show up. I will be diligent in my breedings to ensure the Lavender color stays clean and gorgeous.
