Silverudd Blues were first imported into the United States in 2011 by Greenfire Farms. They are one of the few “true” green layers and lay up to 250 eggs a year. I have been focusing on speckles in my group to give the best egg colors possible to my customers. I took my time, shipping my original hatching eggs that started it all from all over the United States to ensure diversity and the best genes in my group. These guys are the friendliest of chickens and so unique to have!
